Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the services provided by HOST LOGIC LIMITED ("Host Logic", "we", "us"). It forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service. By using the platform you ("User") agree to this AUP. We may update it from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Services to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
  • transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent content;
  • send unsolicited bulk or marketing messages (spam), or otherwise breach applicable electronic-communications and anti-spam laws;
  • upload or transmit malware, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights or misappropriate confidential information;
  • process special categories of personal data through the Services unless separately agreed in writing.

2. Platform Integrity and Security

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other accounts, or underlying infrastructure;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without our prior written authorisation;
  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, or rate-limiting features;
  • place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the platform, or use automated means to access it except through documented interfaces and within published limits;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted.

3. Responsible Use of AI Features

The platform includes AI-assisted features (including the AI receptionist and automated communication). You agree to:

  • use AI features only for legitimate business and guest-communication purposes;
  • not use AI features to generate or distribute unlawful, misleading, or harmful content, or to impersonate any person in a deceptive manner;
  • maintain appropriate human oversight of automated communications and outcomes;
  • ensure you have a lawful basis and any required consents for the personal data you submit for processing, including guest data.

AI-generated output may contain errors and should be reviewed where it materially affects a guest or a business decision. You remain responsible for content sent from your account.

4. Your Responsibility for Content and Accounts

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the content you submit or transmit through the Services. You must keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised use.

5. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached, we may suspend or restrict access, remove offending content, or terminate the Agreement, taking into account the severity of the breach. Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach; we may act immediately where there is a risk of harm, legal liability, or to protect the platform and its users. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
