- What is Host Logic?
- Host Logic is an AI agent platform for individual hosts, property managers and hotels across Europe. It automatically handles guest messages over email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice calls and web chat in more than 100 languages, and it can optimise your nightly rates with dynamic pricing. The platform is built by an operator that manages real short-term rental properties.
- How much does the AI receptionist cost?
- Host Logic comes in three plans, priced per unit per month: "Laura" (the AI receptionist on her own), "Laura + Marcus" (adds dynamic pricing — our most popular plan), and "Laura + Marcus + Pierre" (the full AI team; Pierre is coming soon). Laura handles every guest channel in all plans. Current per-unit prices are always on the Pricing page; annual billing saves 16.7% (two months free versus monthly), volume discounts apply automatically from 6 units, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
- Does Host Logic work without property management (PMS) software?
- Yes, completely. Laura works from your incoming booking emails: you connect your inbox, and from that point she automatically handles your Booking.com and Airbnb guest messages, answers questions and sends out check-in information — 24 hours a day, without a PMS. Property management (PMS) software is not a requirement but an option: if you have one, it syncs availability and rates live, and switches on Marcus's dynamic pricing. Guest communication works fully on its own, purely from the inbox.
- Which languages does Host Logic support?
- Host Logic communicates in more than 100 languages. It automatically detects each guest's language and replies in the same language, so a German guest gets an answer in German and a Greek guest in Greek — with no manual switching.
- Which property management systems are supported?
- Host Logic integrates with the major property management systems such as Hostaway, Smoobu and Previo. The integration keeps availability, bookings and rates in sync, so the AI always works from accurate, up-to-date information. The range of supported software is continually expanding.
- How long does setup take?
- Setup takes about 10 minutes. You connect your inbox and paste in your listing link, and the AI starts handling guest messages right away. No technical knowledge is needed, and there is nothing to install.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial on your first unit. No charge is made until day 15, and you can cancel any time before then.
- How does Host Logic handle GDPR and EU data?
- Host Logic is built for the European market and is GDPR compliant. Guest data is processed under a data processing agreement, stored within the EU, and retained only for as long as necessary before automatic anonymisation. You remain the data controller; Host Logic acts as the data processor.
- Can Host Logic handle voice calls?
- Yes. Laura handles phone calls in every plan: she answers with a natural AI voice, 24 hours a day, in the guest's own language. Calls that require human intervention are handed over to you with full context, so nothing is lost.
- What does Marcus, the revenue manager, do?
- Marcus is the Host Logic AI revenue manager that optimises your nightly rates. It analyses demand, local events, competitor rates and your own booking trends to suggest better prices — and in the right plan, automatically pushes those prices to your channels. Available from the Laura + Marcus plan.
- How often does Marcus update prices?
- Marcus updates recommended prices 6× per day — most competitors offer a maximum of 4×. Every morning at 5am it runs a full analysis for the next 365 days. In addition, prices for the next 30 days are refreshed 5 times throughout the day (09:00, 12:00, 15:30, 18:30, 21:30) based on real-time booking velocity and remaining availability.
- How does Marcus calculate the optimal price?
- Marcus fits a statistical model to each property's own booking history and finds the price that maximises expected profit. The same methodology is used internally by Marriott and Hilton. Marcus also monitors 26 live signals daily: school holidays in 25 European countries, local events, weather, booking pace and available capacity.
- How far ahead does Marcus price?
- 365 days — a full year ahead. Dates beyond 31 days are updated weekly; the next 90 days daily; the nearest 30 days 6× per day. This handles both last-minute and early-bird bookings optimally.

- Host Logic is built for short-term rental hosts, property managers and small hotels across Europe who want to automate guest communication and pricing. Whether you manage a single apartment or a larger portfolio, the AI agents take on the repetitive work so you can focus on your guests.
