Our Role in Data Processing

Data Controller

Host Logic acts as a Data Controller for personal data related to website visitors, registered users, and platform administration — such as account details, billing information, and communication preferences.

Data Processor

When processing data on behalf of customers through the Host Logic platform, Host Logic acts as a Data Processor. In this capacity, we process data strictly according to the instructions of our customers (the Data Controllers) and in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, Host Logic relies on appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.

Host Logic implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure, including:

• Access controls and authentication requirements
• Audit logging of data access and modifications

Your Rights

Under GDPR, individuals have rights including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection to processing. Account holders can exercise the right to erasure directly and immediately by deleting their account from the account settings page, which automatically cancels active subscriptions, deletes their properties and content, and anonymises their personal data.
